Reciprocal tattoo links

Reciprocal Links:

Okay, for any webmasters / site owners who don't know it, links build popularity. The more sites that inwardly-link to yours' helps your rankings and what's more ensures that your site has a far better chance of being spidered more-fully. The more links - in, the better!

If you have a Tattoo related website, whether it be about Tattoo facts, tattoo removal, history of tattooing, tattoo equipment, flash, inks, designs or you are simply a Tattoo fan, then please drop Andy at site admin an email with the relevant details. I.E Domain name, Business name (if different), A brief text-based description of what you do and a polite but brief message (to cheer up my day). Reciprocal links will be made wherever possible and it has to be said that including a link to us already will increase your chances of getting a reciprocal link although where the content is appropriate and/or complimentary, it's virtually 100% given that you'll get included on our links page.

If you've been to Eternal Images and have had a Tattoo or piercing done and are happy (as you should be) or have published pictures or similar, please do not forget to link to us. Blogs entries, personal websites all count and we thank anyone who chooses to link in to us positively. If you've just visited the site (4912 unique visits were made last month - totalling 14411 pageloads) and liked it, please feel free to link to it or blog it. As we now see a regular client base from a Broad area surrounding Goole, it stands to reason that we don't really want to link to other Tattoo Studios generally, although if you can think of a logical reason why we should do, drop us an email with your thoughts. If you wish to link to our site anyway or refer to it, please email us for a suitable logo or use a text link such as; "Eternal Images - Professional Tattoo & Body Piercing Studio". Highly recommended tattoo artist Billy Feather offering great custom art, cover ups, maori and freehand designs in a relaxing modern studio."

Never under-estimate the power of inbound links. Questions via Andy@getinked.co.uk (webmaster)

So what exactly is a hyperlink (link)?

Hyperlinks (or links for short), are a word or several words in a document whose function is to direct e.g. a web browser to the address (local or remote) they link to when clicked on. Using links is how we navigate websites and the whole of the internet. The end user (the one using the Internet) can use a link to avoid typing in the URL (web address) into the location bar.

The area from which the hyperlink can be activated is called its anchor; its target is what the link points to, which may be another location within the same page or document, another page or document, or a specific location within another page or document; this depends on the type of hypertext.

Links can also be used for reference within a hypertext document.

To insert a hyperlink to another place is often simply called to "link". Hypertext (meaning "more than just text") is a form of text typically published on websites that provides a richer functionality than simple text documents by allowing the reader to learn about topics within the article by clicking on key words. Typically the link anchor will be descriptive of to the target's content, for example Wikipedia home page, but badly designed or malicious sites may use obscure links or obfuscated links which make it hard to work out where the link will take you.]
