Whilst Eternal Images has always enjoyed a brilliant reputation with female clients and retains a more-than steady flow of return clients, it has to be said that more women seem willing to "get inked" these days. Over the last five years there seems to have been a second-wind of women discovering tattoos and body art in general. Within just a few years, It suddenly seems more accepted, no "the norm", although this growing trend does see more variety rather than staying with the traditionally typical ladies discreet rose, dolphin or butterfly tattoo.

Obviously the shape and dress-ability of the lower-back can restrict what will work and what won't - it's sometimes easier and better just to work with the flow and contour of the skin. Lower back tattoos - especially when visible through backless tops or dresses, look really sexy and guarantee attention from admirers.

The truth is, it depends on many things. How toned you are, your skin type, how boney or muscular you are, and most importantly, your own pain threshold. If it generally were as painful as most first-timers think it is going to be, Tattoos on the lower back wouldn't be so popular would they? In-fact if the pain were as bad as some virgins think it's going to be, then let's face it, no body would have more than one, let alone sit for 4 hour tattoo sessions.
